Frequently Asked Questions

Riviera Maya, Mexico. The flight schedule is flexible and travel time does not encompass the entire day to arrive. I find the hospitality to be top notch and welcoming while the sunshine is sure to be warm and inviting for a dip in the pool or lounging at the beach.
One of the favorite memories I was able to share with a bride and groom was when they planned a family reunion. Or so the guests thought. The guests were told to head to the beach for a Pig Roast but instead found themselves being greeted and seated by the bride and grooms best friends to attend a wedding. It was a great secret to keep. I look forward to many more favorite memories with future couples.
Trust that we will find that perfect place for you to make this a magical memory and experience. There are lots of options but one of them is the perfect fit for you. It can sometimes be challenging and exhausting to please everyone around you wanting to chime in for the planning process and it is important to stay focussed on how you and the groom wish to experience this special day. Your needs, your budget, your location, your wedding. After all you have waited your entire life for this special day. Make it yours.

More than 100 new hotels have surfaced in the Riviera Maya in the last 15 years, and the trend isn’t slowing down. At the all-inclusive Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, offers wedding packages include late checkout and breakfast in bed, plus fun reception add-ons like late-night grilled cheese sandwiches. Two resorts also launched near Playa del Carmen’s Fifth Avenue: the 92-room Thompson Playa del Carmen (stage your wedding on the rooftop, on a private beach or in the boho Beach House); and the 314-room Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort (stay for the honeymoon package, with a candlelit dinner). In November 2015, Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya, a 434-suite all-inclusive, premiered in the fishing village of Akumal. And at Karisma Hotels & Resorts’ adults-only El Dorado Seaside Suites, revealed, each of the 192 rooms has its own pool or swim-up access.

There are many wonderful destination wedding companies but there is only one Sun & Sandals and I have to say that it is my personal attention to detail that makes us the best choice.
